As you may have heard, Earth Day S.F. 2011 was a resounding success and we have been motivated to expand on the size and scope of next year’s event. We have incorporated many new educational and interactive workshops and have been contacting and booking internationally renowned speakers and world-class entertainment.
The response from State and City government leadership, local community leaders, the Green business community, international learning institutions, the nonprofit sector, our family of strategic partners and the general public has been overwhelming and their commitment to contributing to the success of our 2012 event is inspirational.
We have also introduced a new and robust media and public relations campaign, including major T.V. news and entertainment networks, increased radio and web event advertizing, expanded social media outreach and a rigorous printed media campaign. Additionally, we have created an online Earth Month calendar to connect the larger network of Earth Day efforts around the globe.
